Your finder answers and saved plans
Finder answers, catalog filters and comparison selections use this browser tab’s session storage so you can return from a shoe profile. Saved shoes, private notes, fit checklists, shopping preferences and rotation plans use local storage on your device. These features do not upload that information to a Stride Choice account or database. Local storage remains until you remove it; session storage normally clears when the browser session ends.
You can change or remove saved items in the tools, or clear this site’s stored data in your browser settings. Clearing site data removes local plans and notes, so keep a copy of anything you want to retain. Private browsing, storage restrictions and another device can give you a separate or empty saved list.
Anonymous shoe ratings
Opening a shoe profile can set the necessary __Host-stride-voter cookie. It contains a random browser identifier, is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and expires one year after it is last renewed. The ratings database stores a SHA-256 hash of that identifier alongside the shoe ID and a thumbs-up or thumbs-down vote. The rating feature does not ask for your name, email or purchase history. Reading a profile alone does not create a vote.
Use “Remove my vote” on a shoe profile to delete your vote while the same browser cookie is available. Clearing the cookie creates a different voting identity and does not delete an earlier database vote; that earlier vote can no longer be linked to the new browser identity. Votes remain until removed or the ratings data is reset. Blocking cookies can prevent voting. Ratings are anonymous opinions, not verified-purchase reviews.
Shared links and ordinary web requests
A shared comparison URL contains the selected shoe IDs, not your notes or saved plan. Anyone receiving the link can see those selected models. URLs and normal request information, including IP address, browser information and request time, are processed by hosting and security services to deliver and protect the website. Browser-local storage does not prevent those ordinary network requests.
The public site is served through Cloudflare. Its handling of network and service information is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy. Cloudflare also loads a web analytics beacon on the public site to measure visits and performance. That hosting service processes browser and request information; it does not receive your browser-local finder answers or private notes through the shoe finder. The application does not include advertising trackers.
Videos, sources and retailers
Some profiles load YouTube thumbnails and privacy-enhanced video embeds from Google services. Those services receive network information when their resources load, and further information when you interact with a video. Their use is covered by Google’s privacy policy. Privacy-enhanced embedding does not make a visit or playback anonymous to the provider.
Manufacturer, review and retailer links take you to other websites with their own privacy practices. Retailers handle checkout, payment, order information and returns; Stride Choice does not receive payment details through the shoe finder. Avoid putting private notes or sensitive personal information into a URL or a public review.

The contact & help page identifies the maintainer and the help resources currently available. A public email address, phone number and mailing address have not been published, and this website has no contact form or support inbox. You can manage browser-local saved information and votes as described above. This notice will be updated when the website’s data handling changes; the date above identifies this version.
