Brand specifications

The shoe at a glance.

The Adizero EVO SL is a light road trainer that covers everyday mileage and faster sessions with a firm, unplated ride. A small midfoot insert provides structure without turning it into a full-length plated design, making it worth considering if that distinction matters to your training. The upper has durability concerns around the toes, and the short tongue needs careful adjustment when lacing. There is room around the ball of the foot, but the toe box narrows toward the front, so check toe spread rather than judging fit by overall width alone.

Pros and cons

Our summary of published testing and reviewer impressions. Checked 2026-10-03.

Pros

Low weight makes it easy to change pace.
The upper offers strong ventilation.
Useful for both shorter and longer training runs.

Cons

The short tongue needs careful adjustment.
Toe-area durability and lace quality are weak points.
