Give your everyday pair a clear job
Start with the runs you repeat most. A pair for relaxed weekday miles has a different job from a shoe you also want for faster sessions. Open each profile to check its recorded uses before deciding how much versatility you need.
Compare the details you can use
Check offered widths, your budget and the geometry of a pair you already enjoy. Listed weights can use different sample sizes. If a detail is missing, leave that preference open in the finder rather than treating the blank as a match.
Shortlist first, try on next
Save two or three candidates, write down a question for each, and use the fit checklist during your try-on. A daily-trainer label is a useful way to browse; it does not promise personal fit or comfort.
